Top 10 Wordpress Plugins
This is a list of my favorite Wordpress plugins. These are all free (most of them are licenced under the GPL, the same licence as used by Wordpress).
Adsense Deluxe
A useful plugin which allows you to include Adsense ads in your posts simply by including a comment (like this: <!—Adsense—>). It works for other kinds of ads as well - like Yahoo Publisher Network, and CBEngine.
AutoMeta
This nifty plugin automatically generates keywords and Technorati tags for your posts.
Google Sitemaps Generator
A plugin which automatically generates Google Sitemaps from your blog posts.
Post Schedule Ping Optimizer
This plugin allows you to edit your posts without sending pings to all the blog services, thus avoiding any problems with “ping spamming”. It also allows you to schedule future posts and ping the services only when the future time and date arrives (Wordpress would usually send the ping when you post, not at the future date and time).
Wp-Cache
This plugin speeds up Wordpress by cacheing pages so that they don’t have to be rebuilt every time they’re called.
StatTraq
StatTraq allows you to see your blog statistics in graphical format.
Static Front Page
This plugin allows you to create a “static” home page, simply by setting the page’s slug to “home”.

Redirectify
This plugin lets you redirect vistors to a page outside of your blog.
XFish-meta
This plugin makes it easy to set the keywords and description on each post.
Sociable
Inserts links to your selection of social bookmarking sites at the end of your posts. Look at the bottom of this page, for instance.
