99 Resources for Online Marketers

In February 2006, Mike Filsaime launched Butterfly Marketing. This is the system Mike has used to build huge lists of subscribers.

The way it works is that you invite prospects to download a free ebook or training course, or give them free membership to a private membership site. Once they have signed up, you present them with a ‘One Time Offer’ - something of great value, at a really good price.

If they buy the One Time Offer, you’ve gained a customer as well as a subscriber. If they only subscribe, you have the chance of selling to them at a later stage.

Even if you’re only selling an ebook, using this kind of membership site model makes a lot of sense. You can build a subscriber list which you can sell to over and over again.

Most of the sites that have been set up with the Butterfly Marketing script allow members to become affiliates as well, whether they buy the One Time Offer or not.

Most of the top marketers who use the system make sure that what they give away free is of very high value - although there are some sites where the products are less impressive!

The value for Online Marketers is in seeing what’s working for other people, as well as in the free memberships, downloads and potential affiliate income.

MrOverDeliver
This is Mike Ambrosio’s site. He gives away a huge amount of software and ebooks, generally quite recent and valuable stuff. The site has an active users forum. Highly Recommended.

TheListFX
Keith Wellman offers a library of 8 audio interviews with top online marketers, including Ewen Chia, Liz Tomey, Russell Brunson and Stephen Pierce, along with transcripts of the calls. Really, really Highly Recommended.

Niche Profits Course
Joe Cooper gives away a good e-course on Niche Marketing.

10-Free-EBooks
Eric Holmlund offers 10 free ebooks and a subscription to his excellent ‘Eric’s Tips’ newsletter. Eric uses his own ‘Motivated Marketing” script, but the principles are exactly the same.

Ultimate Marketing Audios
Another site by Mike Ambrosio. Mike gives away 5 interviews with top Online Marketers - Alex Mandossian, Marlon Sanders, Jim Edwards, Michael Fortin and Armand Morin.

List And Profits
Raam Annand is giving away free Gold memberships to his List and Profits site.

List Building Intensive
This is Harris Fellman’s site. He offers a collection of recordings of teleseminars with Internet marketing gurus, mostly on list-building. Some excellent material here.

My Free Giveaway
A great collection of free ebooks and software, many with Master Resale Rights or Private Label Rights. Highly Recommended.

Secret Page Spy
This is Jeff Dedrick’s new site. As a free member, you have access to a set of online tools which allows you to ’spy’ on competitive websites - see what keywords they’re using to get high search engine ranking. Highly Recommended.

Learn-the-Basics
Dave Isaacs and Aaron Leighton’s membership site. They give away a set of 20 Internet Marketing Training Videos, which I’ve seen selling for between $9.95 and $24.95 each.

Internet Business Buddy
Gives you free access to three reports which explain how to deal with the information overload which stops many people from making money online. Recommended.

Writing Cash
This is another of Eric Holmlund’s sites. In a 10-part online training course, he explains how anyone can create an income by writing Google Adwords advertisements for products on Clickbank and other affiliate networks.
